...My belief, my choice, my life…

Painting: the worldwide way to interact without word, using sound and poetry coming from my soul

I paint together with my husband Giampaolo. The signature A&G means that me Alessia (A) has the idea and create the painting design, G (Giampaolo) supports me to have a clear vision of the painting and the message I want to edit. Sometimes paint together means that we seat together in front of the canvas and simply paint in harmony surrounded by natural environment and beautiful music.(no ego involved, we simply flow through the paint energy). Sometimes “together” means that we expose the painting and seat on the floor and meditating together travelling in the paint dimension and receiving from the paint the suggestion needed to finish the artwork. We can own the canvas and the idea, but the painting is already there before we start to draw it.
For me Painting means, “travelling in different world full of feelings” but the most exiting part of all is to see the reaction of people walking on the street and looking our paintings.

Alessia Orlandi Piemontese (A&G) born as artist in 2001 when she met her actual husband that is the mirror of her masculine part. Since then they were never separated and never stop to study and to increase their knowledge and expertise in the Natural Medicine and Self Improvement fields. For 4 years, they work together in Italy and, sharing their knowledge, they develop a unique approach to mind-soul-body entities, able to solve any kind of functional problem/sickness their patients have.
In 2005 they were well inside consultation and teaching business, but decided to trust the Universe and, following their feelings, they started the trip of their life, looking for ancestral knowledge and developing their own idea of wellness and personal-spiritual growth and offering their services to everybody requires. Since now, they moved across Egypt, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Bali, China, Macau, Maldives, Trinidad & Tobago and Mexico.
All these prolonged encounters with foreign cultures make them realise how images are powerful and how can be used not only to communicate but also to evocate unconscious reactions that could be used to heal. Aimed by this need they spent 8 months in Bali Indonesia studying Traditional Balinese Painting, Zen approach to art and Instinctive Water Colour Painting through the experience of holy men that guided them into in the representation of unconscious using the 2D expression. Since that time they were not able to stop creating artwork. Their life change completely and they studied art around the world (Traditional Chinese Painting and Ceramics in Macao - China and Michelangelo Technique Fresco in Rome - Italy, Traditional Mexican Art in Playa del Carmen - Mexico), developing their own style and creating a new art philosophy. Art is the sound of everybody soul. Everyday we saw and registered thousands of images that make us feel, dream and experience the life: let’s represent them !!! Using the painting you will be able to combine the power of logical and creative hemispheres to discover your own power of creation !!!
All this make us an innovative couple of the actual art panorama, also because we developed a unique symbolism interpretation of the Instinctive Painting for the permanent personal growth and learning to use both side of the brain.
In 2009 we exposed in Caminarte in the famous 5TH Avenue Xaman Ha in Playa del Carmen – Mexico
(http://www.buyplaya.com/blogs/rob_kinnon/archive/2009/05/29/caminarte-promoting-the-arts-in-playa-del-carmen.aspx)
and we were part of the first edition of ArtPrize competition in US.
We also create the set design for the Italian Festival in Playa del Carmen. (http://www.ilsoleditalia.com/Notizie/309001/messico_playadelcarmen_festival_italiano.html)
We lived in Mexico for less than2 years and in 2010 we lived in Masai Mara Kenya for a while.
Actually we are back in Rome, Italy where we opened a Penthouse Holiday Rental in Vatican district.
There is nothing most truly of the spontaneous people reaction that give me the strength to continuous to paint.
